Shipping policy
SHIPPING & COLLECTION
PLEASE NOTE: Between Christmas and new year we're running with a light team so orders may take a few extra days to fulfill.
We aim to ship all orders placed before 1pm the same day and the vast majority of orders will arrive in 1-3 days. If you need your sake soon then reply to your order confirmation email and we'll do what we can!
We ship with the best rates we can find. These will be determined by the size and weight of the order. Shipping fees will always be clearly communicated at point of purchase.
Certain orders may qualify for free shipping (for example if the order hits a specified quantity threshold). This will always be flagged at point of purchase.
Currently we are only able to ship within mainland UK. If you desire shipping outside the UK please email our customer services at shogun@shogunsakes.com
Orders received prior to 5pm will typically be dispatched the following working day (Monday to Friday).
PACKAGING
We use bespoke packaging to keep our sake safe whilst it travels to you. If your sake does not arrive to you in good condition please contact us immediately at shogun@shogunsakes.com with pictures of the delivery so we can rectify any issues.
BILLING INFORMATION
We accept all major credit and debit cards, including Mastercard, Visa and American Express via the Shopify pay platform and PayPal. For online card transactions, payments are securely processed using SSL protocol via STRIPE payments.
RETURNS, CANCELLATIONS & NON-DELIVERY
If you're unhappy with your delivery for any reason then please contact us via email (shogun@shogunsakes.com) within seven working days after it's received. The items must be returned in their original condition and packaging within 14 days from the date of purchase. We will refund the value of your order minus any discounts and delivery charges. Ensuring the safe return of the package and postage cost will be the responsibility of the customer.
Title is retained with Shogun Sakes LTD until payment in full is received, and until the customer takes final delivery of the goods.
AGE RESTRICTIONS
It is against the law to sell or supply alcohol to persons under 18 years of age in the UK. To place an order on Shogun Sakes Ltd website you must confirm you are at least 18 years old via the age verification check as your enter our website. In placing an order you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. If our couriers are in any doubt of the age of the recipient of an order they will request photographic ID. We reserve the right to refuse delivery of an order if evidence of age in the form of photo identification is not provided by anyone appearing to be under the age of 25. Examples of appropriate photo identification include a passport, driving licence, and the Proof of Age Standards Scheme (PASS) approved age card.
When delivering to a ‘safe place’ as designated by the purchaser, the delivery cannot be left in an area visible to the general public or where any minor can access the delivery.
Deliveries shall only be made to business and/or private residences and not to any public/open spaces.
