Sake Cocktails
Sake belongs behind the bar, not just beside the sushi. Clean, light and low in sugar, it mixes like a dream: all the character of a spirit base with none of the heaviness. We've put our sake to work in a few of our favourite serves, from five-minute spritzes to something worth dressing up for. Grab a can, raise a glass, and pour yourself into the next one. Kanpai.

SHOGUN Old Fashioned
Minimalist and elegant. Shogun’s Pure English Sake replaces whiskey for a lighter, aromatic interpretation of the Old Fashioned, lifted with Peychaud’s bitters and a touch of sugar. Simple, balanced and surprisingly bold.

Reverse Dry Martini
A delicate inversion of the traditional martini. Shogun’s Pure English Sake forms the base, complemented by a touch of gin, orange bitters and lemon zest. Light, elegant and unmistakably modern.

Rhubarb Negroni
Sharp, bittersweet and just a little grown-up, this is the Negroni with the volume dialed so you can hear: rhubarb and sommer doing the talking, our sake keeping it light on its feet.

Niponglish Garden
a.k.a. A Cucumber Sake Spritz. A light touch, cool & crisp. This is the spritz for long afternoons: cucumber and sake doing what they do best, keeping things light, clean and refreshing.
